Butternut soup
It was cold again today, and for the first time this season there was also some frost. Xena went out with P the dog walker today, while I was busy at home doing chores. She had a great time and came home absolutely filthy, but thankfully with her easy-to-manage short haired coat it is very easy to clean her, the mud just runs off when I spray her down with the portable shower.
I went grocery shopping and then came home and made some butternut soup for my lunch. I did not take any photos today except for this one, a rubbishy photo of my hot soup with the steam rising off it.
Tomorrow morning I am meeting up with some members of my camera club at Richmond Park to photograph the stags. Since I joined the club last autumn we have always met on zoom so I have only met three people in person, so it will be good to finally meet more members. The park only opens at 7.30am so we won't be there in time for sunrise, but hopefully the cold weather will get the stags out and about so we can photograph them. After that we are going to Cambridge to watch Adam play rugby as he has a university rugby match and we want to go see it, and also catch up with Tommy.
My ARPS mounted images came back to me today, so I may consider framing some of them. I was impressed at how well they fared travelling in the portfolio box to Bristol and back again, and the RPS did an excellent job of packaging them up safely to returning them to me.
