Was at YorkGate for lunch with Elaine when the call came out for anyone to come in for an extra shift , so l worked there for a couple of hours after we had eaten.
Have cancelled my visit to Tim’s this weekend, it means l won’t be having my first cinema visit tomorrow after all, so sending my apologies to James Bond.
Covid numbers are rising so quickly in my area, the local grammar school has today sent out a message to parents that masks are being reintroduced after half term on top of all the regular testing that is already taking place.
Time to hunker down a bit more, l have my Covid booster booked for Monday and l’m relieved about that.
