The Challenge

Polo ponies have to be tough, I guess. It's a full contact sport and while each of these ponies probably costs more than her car, my bike and the camper van combined, they're up for a battle. Literally!

We spent some time today wandering Westonbirt Arboretum (behind which lies the Beaufort Polo Club). We were really seeking out fungi, of which we found lots, but these chaps really could not be ignored.

I'm quite pleased with it considering I was planning a shroom shot when they reared up, and had therefore entirely incorrect settings for such an image. I have, for the avoidance of legal challenge, erased their registration brands.
