I had to venture out to buy milk this morning because Sainsbury's didn't have any for this afternoon's delivery.

Job done I went out for a walk around the fields.  Rather chilly but good to be out of the house.  I heard a buzzard but couldn't see it, and it was only after I'd downloaded my images that I saw it in the tree on the hill.

I was pleased to see this little goldfinch alight on a teasel and trying to decide if it was going to tackle it.

The extra is of a group of walkers just about to tackle the non-existent path across the newly sown field, and one of their hats that had decided to go in another direction.
