Trinity Leeds

Trinity Leeds is the largest shopping centre to open in Europe this year. Or something.
You actually already couldn't move for shopping centres in Leeds, I'm not entirely sure why we needed another one.

Last night my iPhone USB cable finally decided it was going to stop working properly, and given the iPhone's need for daily charging, my preferred method of shopping i.e. online, and would not really suffice, unless I wanted to pay for next day delivery. Fortunately, the opening of aforementioned shopping centre, includes a brand spanking shiny new Apple store, removing the need to travel to Meadowhell (this is not a typo).

I didn't manage to persuade the Apple Man (I think they call them Geniuses, I prefer 'Blue Shirts') that actually the fault had a occurred merely from everyday use and not from misuse, thus it ought to be replaced under warranty, so I had to pay for the replacement; we're not very good at getting stuff for free in our family!
But I do love Apple stores, they are magnificent places. Approach a Blue Shirt and they are always very willing to help, they carry iPads, and other gadgetry which allows you to pay them without need for a till (or queue for a till!), my receipt came out of the underside of a table!

Not a big shopper at all, but I liked Trinity Leeds, it has a nice part outside, part inside feel to it, and there were certainly lots of people using the new facilities. And it is definitely very bit!
