Blue sky scrapers

Slept well, actually wore joggers n vest to sleep in last night as I was cold, its rubbish when theres no one there to warm your feet on :-( 

Woke before the alarm, up and downstairs to have a cuppa and my fruit early, as I was heading into Manchester for our ladies who lunch meet up at midday. 

Showered, hair done, outfit chosen, dressed, make up on and out the door for 11.15, put my camera in the boot, to make sure I could get a blip in Manchester city centre. 

We were 2 down today for lunch, just 6 of us, but as always, when we meet up, we had a fab time, we have all known each other at least 40 years.
We enjoyed good food, lots of laughs, nice drinks and even had pudd!! 

No sooner had we met than it was time to say goodbye until we meet next time, which will be in the lead up to you know what!   I took half an hours walk with my camera to get a few shots in and around the canal wharf at Castlefields, the best views where to be had by looking upwards at the clear sky and the various towers reflecting the light……this is the one I liked best. 

Drove through on the M62 to Liverpool to spend the evening with youngest son & DiL, I was treated to a lovely home made beef curry for dinner, thankfully it was quite late by the time we ate….and I had kept my lunch choices on the light side :-) 

Home just after 9, been watching a bit of bake off, amongst other things…..feeling tired now so off to bed shortly.
