Nelson

I must have walked past this statue of Admiral Nelson quite a few times and never noticed it before! It’s near the bullring in Birmingham and I’m usually admiring the church nearby when I’m in the vicinity. But today I saw it and loved the little ship by his side! It’s been there since 1809, so only a few years after his death and the first statue of him in Britain.
