Marsh Tit - 79

We caught the train from Morecambe to Silverdale today and spent the day at Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. We were fortunate to have a mini-blipmeet with Knottman2 who was very helpful giving us an overview and advice on where to visit. After walking down to the Lower Hide time constraints meant we couldn't visit some of the places he advised but we had a lovely day.


We had hoped to see the bearded tits but sadly there was no sign of them but we did see the marsh tit which was another bird I wanted to spot. The extra is a pintail which was going to be my blip (and is probably a better photo) but a marsh tit trumps a pintail which I can probably see nearer home.
