Musical evening

This evening hubby T  presented the president of the Port Elizabeth music society with  honorary life membership. In addition to the award he presented her with a caricature he  had done which caused much amusement.
Dr Erica Bothma is an accomplished concert pianist and has kept music alive through the Covid pandemic.
As ex president, and also an honorary life member T made an excellent speech - the first he has done for some time since his diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease. I felt very proud, and relieved, as he spoke with his usual confidence and humour.
An excellent concert followed with many artists and two choirs performing. How wonderful to feel some normality returning.
