A Chilly Morning Walk

Snow, sleet and hail first thing at 5am onwards, gales blowing, and then cleared into a sunny day.  Remained cold all day.

Up early, and early shift in the airport for the next few days.  We've had a busy day of passengers, with five extra charter flights to check-in.  I was meeting the planes this morning, and on the check-in desk in the afternoon.  Popped by Madeline's on my way home.  Some walkies with Sammy, but mostly a lazy evening, feet up.

The wintery showers stopped before my break, so I headed out for a walk.  The gales blasting from the north were bitter, but the sun was shining.  I thought I had caught some fine waves to show how windy it was, but the photo looks much calmer than it actually was!  Taken at Grutness Voe, Sumburgh.
