When I looked out of the window whilst preparing dinner I noticed a redness in the sky and looked out to see this wonderful Cumbrian sunset.
Our plans to go to Buttermere were scuppered this morning when we had to call the AA to deal with a malfunction indicator on my car. Firstly, we had to walk 1.5 miles to get a signal for the phone, we got through and were told the AA technician would be with us in 45 minutes, we beat him back to the cottage with 10 minutes to spare. An extremely nice man arrived who checked out the problem, worked some magic and said all was OK. What a relief as we have nearly 400 miles to drive home tomorrow.
So, after all of this Luna got to have some more water fun at Crummock Water this afternoon and luckily for her Reggie and his owner arrived too they had so much fun chasing in and out of the water. This holiday has been such fun for her meeting lots of other dogs and their owners.
We now have to pack and hopefully have a good nights sleep. The cottage has to be vacated by 9.30am and then the long road home begins.
