Cause and effect

The barograph clearly shows the rapid drop in atmospheric pressure yesterday afternoon with the approach of the storm which gave so much rain  and wind over  just a few hours. The main road to the village was blocked by a large fallen tree and the river over topped its bank onto the flood plain, but I am not aware of any other damage caused in the village but across the county there were reports of fallen trees and flooded roads. The extra shows the fast flowing river this afternoon
