A tad damp!

We had quite a storm this morning ...... long rumbling thunder & torrential rain!

Mid morning the sun came out .... it was pleasantly warm though rather breezy :-)

This Welsh Poppy was hanging its head under the weight of the raindrops .... thought it would make a pretty blip :-)

I decided it would be a good day to cut back the Lavender ..... thought I'd wait until after lunch to give them time to dry out a bit! Wrong choice! We had another torrential downpour before I got to do it! Far too wet afterwards! Never mind .... they'll wait until another day!
