A day in Bruges with Mr P

He came to visit me . Reached the station at 12.30 pm. We had a coffee and afterwards went to the vegetarian restaurant. He is recovering from cancer allthought  and chemo and radiation have done a good job with him. Still he has to undergo surgery to take out the tumour. We took a slow walk through the city with coffee break visiting the pub for 1 drink. Afterwards we took it to the Irish pub as my friend wanted to watch the football game Manchester city - Club Bruges. I told him frankly , and i don t know anything about footbal, Manchester wil win. Oh he said if a miracle happens Bruges will win. Allas Manchester won 5-1. It was funny to watch the game and somehow i did enjoy it. Meanwhile i had to low grade irish guinnes and some light food. Afterwards we saw the Manchester supporters comming in and some of them had a bit too much booze and were like fare out but not agressive.
ps The lady in the extra was a Manchester supporter. She named herself the blue smurf. I had a small talk with her and she told that she s living in TorquaY. This happend to be close ( Totnes) were the mother of my children is living.  So we had a bit of a connection.
