After the Rain

The water level of the River Frome has risen considerably after the recent rain. It was either too deep or too fast flowing at Millie pups' usual paddling spots - she doesn't do swimming.

I attended the funeral of an ex-work colleague this morning, taken by the big C at 67 years of age. It was very well attended and the service included a wonderfully apt poem I'd not heard before... 'The Dash' by Linda Ellis. I recommend.
