The second day of our recce break......

We had a good breakfast in the hotel and went out into the rain.  We decided to first of all visit the cathedral, and we booked an hour's tour.  It was most interesting and by the time we came out the rain had almost stopped.

The plan was to do a seven mile walk mainly around the outskirts and in the town, and we split into two groups.  It was a lovely walk a lot of which was in the university area and along the river, and my main blip is the view looking to the cathedral over the river.  The sun came out too which made it even more enjoyable.  Some extras uploaded too of our day.

We made it back to the hotel for a wee break before dinner, and some of us made use of the swimming pool while others just relaxed......dinner was very nice, and then we had some chat and did some quizzes before bedtime.
