One man's junk ... Lansdown Charity shop

I'd have gone in if I hadn't been going to work!
Friend E came over in the morning and we had a catch up, the first in ages. She gave me some ideas for the garden, when we crack on with making something of it.

Picked up the twins from nursery, but one of them ran, fell over, started crying, started climbing the school wall (literally), and took a long time to self-soothe. A trip home that usually takes 10-15 minutes with the boys on foot took 45 minutes.

After milk, and TV, and the same child attempting to go to sleep and my cruelly not letting him, we started making gingerbread biscuit people. Fortunately, this was a great hit and led to the other twin saying "I haven't made gingerbread men in all my life. I want to do it EVERY DAY!"

When Mum came back with the eldest child, who bit into a gingerbread man and immediately started crying and saying that his tooth hurt, I left and walked home. It was about 6.15, and already growing dark. This will be the pattern from now on.
