The Tides are out

We started the day with the heaviest downpour with fierce winds. It lasted about 30 mins. There was a similar one in the afternoon. The rest of the time the sun shone.

We had a little walk along the coastal path but it was full of puddles and a bit too slippery for Jack. So he went back to the car and I went for a walk to find the restaurant we had booked to eat at this evening. I also had a walk to the harbour and to see what a local fish shack was selling. All good! Pleasant place but not somewhere I'd like to live.

A quiet, relaxing afternoon and a fun evening. I was introduced by a charming waiter to a pineapple flavoured rum which is very nice! Jack spent some time following ManU who eventually won....thank goodness!
