Lincolnshire Imp !

Many years ago on my last trip to S Wales with my parents….we visited a friend of my Aunty who had a houseful of brass ….As we were leaving he gave me this small brass fella and said ‘ a little piece of Broughton ‘
(the village where he lived ) .
Well I had no idea whatsoever what it was ………..until I was visiting Lincoln and found out it is known as the Lincolnshire Imp
…..a stone grotesque in the Cathedral and the symbol of Lincoln!
