Student Land

The term used, quite derogatorily, by one local councillor to describe Marlborough Road. He held his seat by fourteen votes at the last election so hopefully we’ll be doing without his services and observations next election.

Todays photo Is of a home made poster on a tree a couple of houses down, no idea what it means or to whom it is intended but I find it interesting. The road is colourful, posters in windows, front gardens decorated, fairy lights, door step libraries, etc.
The students get a lot of bad press, undeserved, people forget what they bring to the town, youth, vitality, money to spend and some half decent coffee shops.

Bloody awful weather.
