Intense Synod experience

I never thought I would put intense next to Synod! I got involved this year and have my maiden speech. I was glad that I was able to record it, as I was incredibly nervous.
Getting involved with the cut and thrust of proceedings, listening to the speeches and following the online commentary made it a more engaging process.
I had expected the online Synod to be a very dull and lonely affair, so I organised a hat knit-a-long to create hats for the Mission to Seafarers. As it turned out, I was not terribly productive. Ah well, it should not take me too long to finish it.
