Fuel price in Tallinn...
...is about 30 cents cheaper than back home, but still not cheap.
We came to Estonia to visit in-laws and our goddaughter's family after a longer than usual break due to you-know-what. Not a great timing though, as the situation in Estonia is quite bad, but at least we are all fully vaccinated now, since Jussi got his second jab two weeks ago.
Apart from the Covid situation, we had been closely following weather forecasts. At some point there was sleet for this morning, but luckily it was just rain, so no need to change the winter tyres yet.
The ship left Helsinki at about half past three and the ride was a little bumpy. Luckily the wind was from the south, so not from the side. It was so hard though, that while we were in the restaurant in the front of the ship, the splashes from the highest wave hit the eighth deck windows!
It rained heavily in Tallinn and on the highway from there on, so it was quite tiring to drive in the dark, especially with new routes through the city. Luckily not a long way on the highway though and we arrived safely.
