Wednesday
Wednesday afternoons used to mean cross country runs twice a month with our East Anglian league - & today the series restarted, with a run on West Runton beach. Fingers crossed the other scheduled events will be allowed to happen. Plenty of fresh air (it's renowned for its wind, & today it threw in an extra short squall) & plenty of space for distancing.
We decided to stay over in the van for a couple of nights - wouldn't normally have booked a site on the edge of a cliff but it's only a short walk to where the race started. Others used the beach car park, but the council have taken it over & installed a height barrier to exclude people like us. Anyway, the view's wonderful, just hope that I sleep, knowing the reputation that these crumbling cliffs have.
