Wide Wednesday - Repeating patterns
This morning Anne and I were invited to pal Christina's for coffee. Her beautiful modern flat is in the grounds of the old Canniesburn Hospital* and after coffee we had a walk around the estate.
Several of the former wards and nurses' quarters have been converted into apartments and this is a section of one of them, showing the repeated pattern made by the windows.
* Canniesburn Hospital at one time was at the forefront of plastic surgery before it was moved to the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow. Professor Ian Jackson was famous for his reconstructive facial surgery on a 3-year-old Peruvian boy whom he and his wife subsequently adopted. Some blippers may remember the series of BBC documentaries about 'The Boy David', back in the 1990s.
