A rare visitor

We have found it difficult to maintain the frog population of our pond over the past decade or so, so we were very surprised when we found this little chap (or lady) sitting very near to Peggy Sue's food bowl.  Clearly she brought the visitor in but like many felines before her discovered that the skin of a frog tastes extremely nasty and so the little creature was completely unharmed.  Mr MC managed to catch him  and carry him out to the pond, where I took this quick phone shot, before he leapt into the water.
This evening we picked up Violet from school and after the now regular visit to Costa we set about preparing the Halloween pumpkin which she has to take into school tomorrow.  Or rather Mr MC has to carry the pumpkin to the school tomorrow! See extras for a quick pic of the pumpkin carving process.
