Bad News & Good News

The bad news is that the Blackbird nest that I disturbed a week or so ago has been abandoned and the single egg left, cold and obviously beyond recovery.
I've removed the nest and egg for one of the boys to take into school for 'Show and Tell' when they go back after the Easter holiday.

Good news is that I've found the pair have built a new nest and are sitting on eggs. I don't know how many and don't want to disturb them at all so just took a snap.

If you 'Go Large' you will be able to see the females eye as she sits on the nest.
