Lalawethika is fond of going places where we don't like her to go when we're not looking. Here, she lodged herself comfortably in Aga's clothes, but moved out a minute after this picture was taken because Aga noticed her in there.

Lalawethika means "noise maker" in the language of the Shawnee Native Americans. She lost her tail in a play-hunting accident at one month of age.
She is named after Tenskwatawa, one of the Shawnee prophets, whose name as a child was Lalawethika. He had lost an eye in a hunting accident when young, and later had visions given to him by the Great Spirit.
