Gambetta Market

We ventured to a new part of Lille (for us) to check out the Sunday market.

Despite the bitter cold, it was great to see so many people milling about stocking up on fresh food for the week. We fortified ourselves with pain au chocolat and headed for lunch and to stock up with cheese and wine ourselves.

Thankfully the journey home was much less rocky; B survived.
