Little Things
My Mom had a glass display cabinet in which she kept lots of little treasures. Dad was very keen to keep this when we moved house and he came to live with us. I had things to add to the little collection so the top shelf is full of a range of what, to me, are really interesting little objects! In this shot you can also see some of my glass collection on the shelf underneath the little things.
Thank you all for the good wishes for Dad's health. The Doctor phoned last night to say they would be keeping him in for a few days to monitor his kidney function, any potential head injury and to continue antibiotics for a chest infection. The also want to get a lot of fluids into him. He had just moved onto a ward this afternoon when I phoned so I didn't get a lot of new information but I would hope that he is a little less confused now.
Does anyone have any experience of the "Respect" forms they seem to be using to indicate preferences for treatment from medical institutions? The paramedics mentioned this when they arrived yesterday and the Doctor mentioned them briefly last night. They sound like a useful item to clarify a situation when someone is in need of medical attention. I need to find out when and how they are produced - in hospital? with a GP? Research needed.
