Armenia

This time 15 years ago, I was doing some peace building work in Armenia and took this snap plus the one below.
It is a beautiful country but with a sad recent history, where over a million Armenians were murdered in what is usually called the Armenian genocide.
Despite this travesty, faith enlivens the people. What a positive attitude to life.
