Coming in

Time to take the cattle in for the winter. The pasture is finished, the feeding area has turned muddy and the weather is just getting worse.

Spent all morning making preparations, then had a quick lunch. Four people from the heifers' home farm came at noon and brought new calves along. Then after getting the cattle in, they left with two heifers and later came back with two more new ones. Lots of cleaning etc. in the afternoon, and I also had to fetch feed before resuming the winter time cowshed routines.
