Larch Bolete

It was a choice between a nice group of brightly coloured Fly agaric or this larch bolete. I chose the larch bolete because I could see the forest reflected in the sticky mucous that covered the cap. In the woods above Lake Vyrnwy it was so quiet, you could hear the drops of rain falling on the ground and nothing else. And in a sweltering 18c!
