Recognize this beauty?
Backblip.... I had an amazing ride at Withlacooche Rails To Trails, Bike Trail! We stopped for lunch and this beauty was parked in the lot. It is an original Ford, Woody. It was stunning!!!! When the owner turned on the engine it had that old, rumbling sound of each cylinder firing. There is another sideview of this gorgeous car!
Another extra shows the railing, converted to a bike trail, going under what used to be a horse and buggy tresses, replaced for vehicle use. the 3rd extra is near the RR Depot. You can see a restored Caboose and waterpower.
The 4th extra is a turtle and manatee relaxing across the street. We rode down past the Depot and then turned out of this beautiful town Inverness. After a few miles we came to a beautiful lake with a bike trail bridge, gazebos to stop and enjoy, birds to watch boaters and sailboaters.
We rode 24 miles down and back. On the way home we stopped for an ice cream cones.
The last extra is a state sign of Florida advertising the Rails To Trails and other State Parks.
I was so tired last night that I didn't post these pictures. All I wanted was a hot shower, tea, and my girls.
