Slow catch up

I was a church chorister from a young age, learnt both cello and piano and studied music as an additional subject in my last year at school ( and got an O Grade) but whilst I have always remained a keen listener , I haven’t played an instrument since that time which is now more than 50 years ago.

However retirement seemed an appropriate time to , slowly and sometimes painfully ( especially to the ears!) start again - as I did in April.
