Looking at You

Several hummingbirds around the backyard today; so I am posting another hummingbird shot. This young hummer is getting striking green feathers, but I didn't see any flashes of red on its throat. They really like the branches I placed on the deck for the birds to perch. The hummingbirds rest often on my branches...along with the Goldfinches, Bushtits, Song Sparrows, Juncos, Towhees, and more.  I am so glad Debbi showed me her set of dead branches for the birds.  See extra for a view of the wing with the stripes...I haven't noticed that before on any of the other hummingbirds.
