El Salvadorian Cross on Snow

On the 7th Day of Spring. It snowed this morning for a couple of hours, but came to nothing.

El Salvadorian Cross lying on snow. Why? Well, after all this frozenness new life will break forth in time to announce the coming of Spring. This cross is known as "The Tree of Life Community Cross.

Likewise, this time of year I'm reminded of my trip to El Salvador in March 2000 for the 20th Anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero on 24th March 1980, while he was celebrating mass.
