Puddles!

No-one is great, but no-one is terrible, which is about as good as we can probably ask for.  The eldest is on the mend and very cheery, youngest is grumpy (sure sign of being under the weather), I've perked up throughout the day, the husband is a day or so behind me.

Suffice to say, it's been a slow day.  Lots of playing this morning for all of us, which was lovely.  It dawned on me at lunch time that one positive is that we're in no rush for anything and it makes for very good family time.  I did insist we went for an afternoon walk, we may not be the most well, but fresh air has to be a tonic.  It also meant that at 3pm, children really did have to get out of their pyjama's. Despite many protestations about a walk, we were out for 2 hours.  The boys ended up running around barefoot in the mud (after jumping in puddles).

Today I'm grateful for:
Starting to feel a little better, I hadn't realised how rough I had been feeling
A slow autumnal Sunday, with no plans and no need to be anywhere
A box of chocolates from my sister - yum!
