Last day of filming for us!

Today was the last day Hubby and I were needed for the filming of A la Perchoine (this means “till we meet again” in our local Patois!) It’s a film being made all about the evacuation of the school children (whole families evacuated too) at the start of WW2. Its been quite emotional filming it. We both sang in the recording of the adult chorus and the whole thing has been lovely to be part of. The film won’t be available till mid next year. Here you can see some of the children supposedly going down the slipway to go on the boat to England. They didn’t return for 5 long years!
