Our bike ride to a playground on the beach took us through the Pierpont Keyes, the route we take to the school when we don’t drive. It was a glorious day with blue sky, sun, warmth and palm trees. Passing this VW caravette reminded me of long family trips to the Orkney Islands and created a very profound image of our new life here.
