Ouchy!

For the first time in ages this morning I felt really confident riding my favourite mare, which was good as she was definitely enjoying herself during some of the transition work we were doing.  My planned walk to trot ended up her walk to canter at one point.  I always used to be a confident rider so I'm glad I haven't lost it.My friend was up at the yard as well, back riding only about three months after having a baby.. Good for her

Allotment prep for a couple of hours after that, getting ready to plant the broad beans and garlic next week plus distributing some wild flower seeds.

My afternoons planned garden tidy up, still fighting with the ground elder, was brought to an abrupt halt when I disturbed a wasps nest, luckily with the rake and not my trowel. They weren't happy waspys all the same and three of them managed to fight back including the one that got inside my shirt somehow.

I've taken antihistimine and put some on the stings but I don't react well to stings and bites so we'll have to see what happens. I won't go into shock, that would have happened by now, but I'll likely end up looking a bit like John Merrik.

The extra is part of the nest. And the other one is what so was going to post as my allotment bounty.
