Museum day

Iceland is a young nation, they are very proud of their history, but there is not a lot of it. Having said that the museum was beautifully laid out and very informative in both English and Icelandic. 

Later we went for our Covid tests for returning home. A booth at the bus station gave free tests with e-mail results in fifteen minutes. Such is Socialism. 

I have no idea what this object is, judging by the label the museum didn't know either. 

A meal out at a wonderful fish restaurant capped the week.
