Autumn stars

Asters, (also known as Michaelmas daisies and now in the genus Symphyotrichum) in the back garden. I love the colour of these, though I find it hard to really capture it.

We have at least 4 different types in the garden, but I think these are my favourites, they are absolutely iconic flower at this time of year.

I haven't posted in ages, life and work have been far too hectic for months, but I have curiously missed it. Perhaps the discipline to stop and take a picture makes sure that I really take a minute to enjoy the moment's that come through the day?

Interestingly, the problem I have is there are often too many different things going on in a day to choose a representative image.
