Conker

There’s something fascinating about finding a conker, perhaps it’s a stimulation of those childhood memories, not just playing with them in the school playground but planning to collect them and running to a familiar tree with high hopes of finding these wonderful ready polished beauties in the damp grass below the often huge tree.
A foggy start to the day but enjoyed a company bike ride and cafe stop in mostly sunny conditions.
The garage door has now received its winter coat of Dulux Woodsheen, I thought I had purchased a tin of sticky mud however I am suitably impressed with the finished effect.
