Don't squabble

I slept in late this morning, intentionally. To catch up on rest, ready for a busy day tomorrow.

Not sure if I achieved that intention, because we spent hours cutting back in the garden. One of our climbing roses has gone a bit wild as it wasn't pruned last year, so we tackled that with vengeance. Monty Don would have been in tears if he had been watching. I was pleased that the girls weren’t here as it would have been dangerous with all the thorns etc. They would have been unhappy to be indoors watching out. 

We haven't finished it yet, the recycle bin and other receptacles are full, so we need a visit from the bin men next week.

It has been another beautiful day.
