Dark Way

This is the lane at the bottom of our garden and it runs from one village street to the other.  It's narrow and dark and is bounded by ancient hedgerows.

We walked it today to the Village Hall to see an exhibition of historic plans, maps and pictures of the village.  It was very interesting, although not very well attended, regrettably.
