Apples from South Africa?

This is the window display of a lovely greengrocers in town, no plastic packaging here, but do we really need to be buying apples from South Africa? Their English Cox’s apples are gorgeous! As well as a trip into town, I got 3 lots of washing done and line dried and a little bit of cutting back done in the garden - the wheelie bin is full again! 

Yesterday and today I caught up with the 5 Earthshot Prize documentaries, in advance of the prizes for 2021 being announced in the programme tomorrow night. An excellent initiative by Prince William as founder, and nice (and essential) to see a global initiative. Some very interesting ideas have been showcased.
