I have such a horrible cold. Snotty nose, phlegmy coughs. Poor me! And my wee pal was coming for a day of strenuous baby-sitting. Once I’d slapped myself about a bit, we had such an enjoyable day. A trip to the beach, some kids TV, reading books, washing shells, a good nap, and finally a trip to the Ocean Terminal soft play area. And she took to it straight away like a good wee ‘un. Round and round, up the steps and down the slide. Best £5.75 I’ve spent for quite some time. 
In other news, William Shatner becomes the oldest person in space at the age of 90 on Jeff Bezos’s rocket ship. His cover of Pulp’s Common People was knock out brilliant; this cements it. The man is a real legend, Jim.
