Eyes

Took my Dad for his eye appointment this afternoon.Four Hours!Not allowed to go in with him so I waited in the cafe.After an hour I went looking for him.Thought he may have wondered off.Asked a nurse to check if he was still in there and he was.Three hours later and several more checks to see if he was still in the cafe had closed and the staff where all leaving.Again I knocked to see where he was.I was asked what does he look like.I replied that he went in as a young man but he probably looks turned eighty by now!They have no sense of humour.
To top it all they told him they didn't know why he had been called in three years after his op and that he really didn't need to attend.

We are continually told that the NHS is at breaking point.I wonder if nurses are so busy and run off their feet how they manage to get so incredibly fat.

Nice to see the government are going to make GP's do a bit.Could even be possible to get an appointment.
