Changing Rooms

One of my favorite TV programs on Japanese TV is gekiteki before after.
They strip your house down to it's frame, discover it should have fallen down and marvel at the steepness of your staircase.  When its al done they have hidden assistants to pull the doors open as if by magic and the lady who narrates says "Nanto iu koto deshou!?" .....kind of like "would you look at this!"

Unfortunately they didn't pop round to do our house for free and we are struggling to carry the boy up and down the stairs as he gets older.  He now has a bedroom downstairs in a minecraft theme that my wife added the finishing touches to after very patiently waiting for me to finish making a meal out of slapping some plasterboard over the traditional sand finished walls and paint it.  Nanto iu koto deshou!
