Bookclub again

I attended the Camberley Bookclub today. We had read The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, a Booker prize winner. 3 people loved it, one hated it. I had trouble working out what was going on as it jumped around the timeline and when you listen to a book you can’t easily flip back a few pages or chapters to get back on track.
After that I went for a walk around Akay Woods with MrD. And Brutus came too. We went to track down a bonfire that was covering the area with smoke. We found it, and also encountered 2 dogs out for walks. Brutus sensibly disappeared when the dogs were around, but then rejoined us. Not many people take their cat for a walk!
